Skill of jumping rope
1. Sideways jumping
This exercise will train your endurance and strengthen your abductors and adductors. Two people stand one after the left and right sides of the jump rope, first side one-legged jump forward, then jump back to the original position. Be careful to swing your arms vigorously when jumping. Take a 10-second break after 1 minute jump and repeat 2 times.
2. Basic skills of rope skipping: simple rope skipping
Prepare: Keep your feet together and bounce for 2 to 3 minutes (3 to 5 cm).
Start skipping rope, pay attention to the wrist arc swing. Beginners start with 10 to 20 jumps, rest for 1 minute, then repeat 10 to 20 jumps. Non-beginners can jump 30 times first, rest for 1 minute, then jump 30 times.
3. Hop with one knee
Bend your right leg forward. Stand on your toes and do 10 to 15 hops on one leg. Repeat on your left leg. Take a 30-second break and do 2 rounds on each side.
4. Split legs and jump together
Do the jump rope preparation exercise (see Exercise 2), then jump rope, jump with feet apart, feet together on the ground, repeat 15 times.
5. Cross your arms
Do jump rope prep (see Exercise 2), then cross your arms. When the rope is in the air, cross your arms. After jumping over the crossed rope, reverse your arms and return to their original positions.
6. Double jump rope
(1) Stand side by side. Each person holds the handle with the outside hand. Start with the simple rope jumping method (see Exercise 2). Two people jump with both feet at the same time. Then practice jumping with one foot.
(2) Take a standing position one in front and one behind. The tall man stands behind and swings a jump rope.
